Thursday : we had a very busy day / night at the shop; kicked off the weekend with some wings and beer and welcomed our first guests into town. ![]()
*Thank you so much to Brandon Joy with ProjectX Graphics for coming down and helping us out with overlays Thursday, doing some design training with us Friday night, changing hotels due to bad weather, making it to the Swap Meet first by testing the icy roads out for us, racing karts, and doing the fun lil' banquet with us. It was great to see McKenna again and meet Alex! #sodaboy![]()

Friday : another busy day at the shop; dipped out early to go pick up Brian at the airport, went home and grilled up some steaks and drank beer while the rest of the out-of-state guys made their way in for the weekend. We did some design / marketing training. Congrats to Ryan for being the 2024 Design Champion. ![]()
*DDWest team sent out Brian to the represent the West Coast division of Demon Decals. We appreciate the ladies in charge of things out there for letting us have Brian for a weekend, we wish Amanda and Paigey could have made it out to be part of the vacation. Congrats to ol’ showtime for picking up a podium finish for his first time racing in Iowa. #difficust![]()
*DDNorth made a multi-purpose trip out of the long haul down from Minot, North Dakota. They got a new Charger Chassis stock car picked up while in town; helped out wrapping a car at the swap meet on Saturday, and hung out to take pictures with even though family illnesses back home was needing their attention more than a night of partying. Thank you Adam, Ryan, and Bill for coming down. I look forward to watching our Northern Division grow exponentially over the next few years. ![]()
*VT’s 3D Prints made the haul over Friday afternoon, got to check out the Headquarters in Rising City, and helped out a lot in our marketing training portion of the night. The 3d printed cars seemed to be a hot topic at the swap meet in Albion Saturday. Thanks Dylan for coming out; and thanks Tanner for the hangover! It was great meeting both of you. #demension![]()
*Bring It AND Sling It Race Wraps made it up Friday night and offered us part of his creative genius during design & marketing training. The duo Brung & Slung some helmet wraps and Rush Race Gear suits at the trade show and was represented on the podium in the Powderpuff division at karting! Thank you guys for all you do for us including taking over the grill/ blackstone whenever I get distracted. ![]()
*T’s Custom Tee’s prove time and time again that they’re top dawgs in the apparel world. Tom and Beckey delivered some last minute shirts, hung out all weekend, and soaked in the racing atmosphere that they’ve grown to love! I strongly believe the art, quality, and service the team has achieved ranks them amongst the biggest names in the race shirt industry. ![]()

Saturday : overnight ice storm hurt the Boone County Speedway swap meet kick off, but I think it ended up being very successful for most vendors. We made the long trek over to Joe’s Karting because we’re Race Wraps for Racers by Racers and we weren’t all about to go bowling. We’ve worked with Joes Karting for a long time on several different projects including the victory lane wall wrap that I think we did over a decade ago now. We should have gone to Chilis for the award ceremony, but the banquet room at the hotel we all booked worked fine for our version of the Dundies (no one got bushiest beaver or hottest in the office awards). Then a handful of us made it past the hotel bar closing and continued the celebration until downtown Omaha bars shut the party down. ![]()
*Thank you Jeff Ware and Austin Brauner for helping make Saturday a success. 10a had a hell of a booth at the swap meet, and probably was probably the top selling vendor. TRF was represented well in the A Feature at Joes with Colin Hein picking up the dub in the 20 car field. Levi Miller somehow didn’t finish 5th for once this year! Kyle Kraus and Daniel Sperling hung around in the back with me during the A and I really appreciate that. It’s a cool thing we got going on and what once was a sarcastic answer to non-racers has turned into an undeniable fact across the divisions that sometimes some of us legitimately are really fucking fast. #racewrapsforracersbyracers #teamrealfast![]()
*Ryan got out of the announcers booth and strapped on a helmet this weekend. Great job on Steinys wrap install this weekend at the swap meet, handling the pressure of a large audience and revolving install help while managing the booth solo. I always enjoy hanging out with you in any capacity, I’m glad to call you a friend. Tell Makayla thank you for coming out and that she should give loving racing another shot so we have more reason for our wives to hang out! ![]()
